HORMONE BALANCING

RESTORE BALANCE. RECLAIM YOUR VITALITY.

Hormones play a vital role in nearly every function of the body—from energy and metabolism to mood, sleep, and cognitive health. Even small imbalances can significantly impact how you feel and perform each day.

Our physician-led hormone balancing program uses advanced diagnostics and personalized treatment strategies to restore optimal hormonal function, helping you regain energy, mental clarity, and overall vitality.

Precision care designed to bring your body back into balance.

WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS OF HORMONE IMBALANCE?

Hormones play an essential role in how you feel and function each day, influencing
everything from energy and mood to metabolism, cognitive clarity, and reproductive health. When hormone levels
shift or become imbalanced, the effects are often subtle at first and can impact multiple areas of the body at once.

Because hormone imbalances can present differently from person to person, symptoms are often experienced as a unique pattern rather than a single, obvious sign. They may develop gradually and are sometimes easy to overlook or
attribute to other causes.

Recognizing these patterns is an important step in understanding what your body may be signaling and in moving toward a more balanced, supported state of health.

Energy & Mood: fatigue or low energy, anxiety, depression or mood changes, insomia or disrupted sleep.

Cognitive Health: memory changes, brain fog or difficulty concentrating.

Metabolism & Cardiovascular Health: weight gain or changes in body composition, elevated blood sugar, elevated cholesterol.

Sexual & Reproductive Health: low libido, vaginal dryness and infections.

Physical Changes: hair loss or thinning, temperature dysregulation – including hot
flashes or night sweats.

WHAT IS HORMONE REPLACEMENT THERAPY & WHO IS IT FOR?

Hormone replacement therapy is a medically guided approach to restoring the
hormones your body produces in diminishing quantities over time. As estrogen,
progesterone, testosterone, and other key hormones decline – due to aging,
perimenopause, menopause, andropause, or chronic stress – the effects ripple across
every system in the body: sleep, cognition, mood, metabolism, libido, and physical
resilience.

When hormones are restored to optimal levels, many patients experience meaningful
improvements in overall well-being, vitality, and long-term health.

HRT is for anyone who wants to address those changes proactively and with clinical
precision, rather than simply accepting them as inevitable.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Bioidentical hormones are molecularly identical to the hormones your body produces naturally. Synthetic hormones, by contrast, are chemically altered — often to enable patenting — and may bind to receptors differently, which can affect both efficacy and tolerability. Many patients find bioidentical hormones more comfortable and better aligned with how they feel. Dr. Kate will review the evidence with you during your consultation so you can make an informed, confident choice.

Many patients notice meaningful shifts almost immediately and increasing benefits within four to eight weeks — improved sleep quality, steadier energy, lifted mood, and greater mental clarity are often among the first changes. Deeper benefits, including changes in body composition, libido, and skin quality, typically develop over three to six months as hormone levels stabilize. We monitor your progress closely throughout and adjust as needed.

Follow-up appointments are typically scheduled at six to eight weeks after initiating therapy, then every three to six months once your levels are stable. Lab work is repeated at regular intervals to ensure your protocol remains optimally calibrated.

This is one of the most important questions we address, and it deserves a thoughtful, individualized answer - not a blanket one. A personal or family history of hormone-sensitive cancers requires a careful evaluation of risk, benefit, and the type of hormones being considered. In many cases, there are safe and appropriate options; in others, we may recommend alternative approaches.

Absolutely. Men experience their own hormonal decline - commonly called andropause - characterized by falling testosterone, increased fatigue, reduced muscle mass, cognitive changes, and diminished drive. We offer comprehensive men’s hormone optimization, including testosterone replacement therapy, DHEA, thyroid support, and metabolic assessment.
